From the Midst of Destruction, We Keep Learning and Working
JREAS HUB: Free Workspace, Wi-Fi, and Training for Students and Freelancers in Gaza.
The war in Gaza has disrupted education, destroyed workplaces, and taken away many opportunities to earn a living.
In the middle of these challenges, JREAS Hub was established to provide students and freelancers with a free space where they could continue studying, working, and staying connected to the outside world.
Today, we are moving forward as JREAS Coop, building on the work of JREAS Hub with a stronger focus on community, collaboration, technology, and sustainable opportunities.
Our mission remains the same: to help people in Gaza continue learning, develop their skills, and find ways to work despite the difficult circumstances they face.
What We Provide:
Free Workspace and Wi-Fi
We provide students and freelancers with access to a workspace and internet connection, helping them study, work, and stay connected when these basic resources are difficult to access.
Professional Training:
We organize training sessions and learning opportunities that help participants develop practical and digital skills relevant to their education and careers.
Learning and Professional Connections:
We connect people with trainers and professionals, including opportunities to learn from international experts and exchange knowledge beyond Gaza's borders.
Technology Projects and Career Opportunities:
Through JREAS LAB, our technology company, we work on technology projects and seek opportunities for local talent to gain practical experience, collaborate with others, and participate in professional projects.
We believe that Gaza's students, freelancers, and technology professionals have valuable skills and potential. With the right resources and opportunities, they can continue developing their careers and contributing to the wider world.
Why Your Support Matters:
Keeping this initiative running requires consistent funding for workspace rent, electricity, internet access, equipment, and training activities.
Your contribution helps us maintain the space and services people rely on, continue offering free access to learning and work resources, and develop new opportunities for students and freelancers in Gaza.
Our immediate priority is to secure the resources needed to keep JREAS Coop operating. With reliable support, we can build on what we have already achieved and work towards a more sustainable future.
We invite you to learn about our work, explore our documented activities, and see how your support can help us continue.
Every contribution makes a difference in helping us keep this initiative going.
From JREAS Hub to JREAS Coop: Our Journey:
JREAS Coop is the next step in a journey that began with JREAS Hub. What started as a free workspace for students and freelancers is developing into a broader community built around learning, collaboration, and technology.
This change reflects our commitment to finding sustainable ways to continue serving our community, creating professional opportunities, and connecting Gaza's talent with the wider world.
We believe trust comes from real work, not promises. Our activities, updates, and achievements are documented on our social media pages. We invite you to explore them and learn more about the people, efforts, and stories behind this initiative.
